Although I do not believe the hype that belongs to new years resolutions, I know there will be plenty of us Aussies out there who want to get back on track with their health and fitness after this weekend and especially so after the looong school holidays.
In 20 years, I have known many successful clients and fitness buddies, who have challenged themselves and crushed their goals.
Each one of the most successful people that I have been grateful enough to meet (and sometimes coach) had an expert who they purposely hired to fast track them to success.
The others, who chose the cheapest trainer or decided to go it alone, of course sometimes got some results. If they did achieve their goals by cutting corners, they eventually got started getting the body and the fitness and health, yet at a far slower rate.
My point here is, the clients who invested cleverly in the beginning, actually ended up paying less in the end with time and of course spent less of their hard earned cash because they were not willing to take chances or waste time anymore. Coincidently at the same time, they achieved better results, faster.

Here's my top five tips for people who want to fast track their success in 2019
1. As tempting as it might be after financial splurging over Christmas, don't take the cheap, easy option for your training and nutrition coaching. You will undoubtedly, pay the price later with poor progression rates and/or short term results. I know this sounds unsexy but reality says there's no shortcuts to success. If you want to fast track though, you have to be willing to Invest your time, hard & smart efforts plus money wisely into a decent trainer, for the long haul and from the very beginning of you deciding that you want to make change. This mindset will stop you being the yo-yo whilst enabling you to take full control of your health and fitness goals from the moment you decide to transform and carry it though for the lifespan. Provided that you are willing to listen and take on board their advice, a great coach will educate you to do things properly. This may feel like a high investment in the beginning but 99% of the time it will pay off dividends in the end.
2. Set your goals properly, so they become a vision. Believe it or not setting your goals properly can determine the scope of your results. Pay particular attention to detail during goal setting. For example, when you might say losing weight is your (THE WHAT) goal, consider also the HOW, WHY, TIMEFRAME & OBSTACLES for each goal. This is so that you create depth and meaning for your goals and therefore it becomes more of a personalised vision, which more strongly resonates with your desires. This then translates into better dedication in doing the work to get your results.
3. Drink lots and lots of water. A huge proportion of us greatly underestimate even our baseline requirement for water. Your kidney's and liver thrive on water supply to allow proper functioning of the bodies intricate systems and to flush through toxins in the body. If you feel like you've over indulged in the wrong foods and alcohol, especially in the heat waves of summer, hydration is key to making you feel more energised and look better too. There's nothing more than your body wants than hydration to flush the toxins so you start feeling better again.
4. Nourish Your guts With a Proven Nutrition Plan. Before being sucked into the hype about detoxes and quick fix diets that are the 'latest fad' consider what you are currently consuming first and all that mother nature has to offer you. This alone with adequate hydration enables you to feel better. An extremely effective way to begin any detox without the use of lotions and potions out there on the market today, is to start by eliminating junk out of your current eating regime and nourishing your body with healthy foods. Once you have accomplished this and you'd like to take this further, you can then try an effective eating plan like the one I have created that helps to nourish your guts and gets your health in better alignment so you achieve even better results such as fat loss, strength and vitality.
5. Follow a Training Program That Is Made By A Pro! Following my point above, I see so many people trying to go at it alone in the gym only to come back with poor results for their efforts, and/or heaps of unanswered questions. Stop the second guessing and crush your goals, by making an investment in your training program with a pro.
I feel for the clients these days, to try sourcing a suitable coach thats right for them as there's so may of us out there, many really good and many not so good.
When looking for the best training program and coach, although it's important that your coach takes pride in their looks and presentation, this is far different than someone constantly relying on their selfies to sell you a quick fix program. Have a look specifically at the coaches experience with clients like you, what their qualifications are , and of course a personality that you know you can work with.
