We need to move daily, not just for our bodies, but also our minds.


Both our body and minds require stimulation on a daily basis.


The more you drop movement to squeeze out those extra few moments at your keyboard, the harder it is to build back a healthy routine.


Make movement your daily medicine.


When you strip back all the heavily advertised extrinsic benefits of improving health and fitness such as body shape, muscular strength and stamina, (which are all great, of course) we tend to lose sight of the immediate benefits that movement does to our mental and emotional health, which then acts as an extremely positive precursor to our daily lives. These positives create underlying strength and empowerment, that is invaluable and the exact reason I absolutely love my job so much.


Movement helps to boost your endorphins after only a few minutes of work, which can make the difference between your most average days and your best days where everything flows with positivity.


If you want to be the most confident and switched on cookie in the room today, who’s consistently the highest achiever, then I can guarantee that using movement as a medicine, is the smartest choice, you will make all day.


Now before I finish, when I say ‘daily movement’ I’m not referring to smashing yourself in daily at the gym. I’m talking about training programs where you purposefully structure, mobility, light work, hard work and moderate working intensities.
