7 Signs That You're Ready For a REBOOT


Have you ever sat at your computer, tearing your hair out because despite pushing all the right buttons the computer says NO! It’s frozen, it’s crashing, it’s on overload and no longer is responding to simple commands. Even when you push those buttons on your keyboard with extra frustration, still nothing works! Aghhhhh!! Often this can be the same with your health and fitness. Despite intentionally trying to eat and train the right way, your body is no longer responding the way you want it to, leaving you feeling tired and frustrated and ready to quit.

1. You feel tired, lethargic and want your energy and vitality back.



Feeling tired and lethargic from time to time is normal, we all slog through long working/ parenting hours at some point. But to feel this level of sluggishness all the time? This is really not normal and can feel seriously detrimental to your vitality and lease for life. Feeling chronically tired, or experiencing an energy roller coaster of highs and lows everyday, usually is a sign that something is out of whack either with your sleep quality, sleep quantity, current nutrition or gut health. 2. Despite eating healthily and training hard you are struggling to get into your best shape and stay there


Do you constantly struggle to get into shape despite genuinely eating all the healthy foods? Have you tried all the diets you can think of and still feel like you are yo-yoing back and forth between getting the results and then feeling over- weight and out of shape again? I've had many clients come to me with problems like this before and I can feel the frustration.

Fortunately, over the years, after delving in deeper to the research, I found the reason why some clients really struggle to get into their best shape despite all their best efforts with their nutrition, is actually due to an imbalance of their gut health. Since doing a tonne of research, I found an amazing strategy which I have tried and tested on many clients to be extremely successful. Before you think its down to starvation and calorie cutting that's simply not true. Since you have specific gut microbiome which helps to regulate your metabolism nutrient absorption and bodyweight management, my strategy works on a deeper level, than simply carb cutting or intermittent fasting because you choose particular foods, which your gets your gut into better health. This in turn, helps you to lose unwanted kgs and get into better shape both in the short term and long term. So what you practice here is even better than a diet, since the results are sustainable. 3. You are no longer getting faster, fitter or stronger even though you are training hard.


If you're genuinely training hard but have hit a training plateau where you no longer seem to

be getting results in the gym or the sport field, this can be down to a number of reasons. Firstly, lack of results may be due to lack of focus. Perhaps you have not set any distinct goals for yourself of late ? Through my experience, those who don't achieve their goals, haven't even set them in the first place. Yes, I know it sounds simple- but it's true. Keep in mind that, when we are not getting the results we want, we tend to panic our brain into a scramble and as a result, we over-complicate everything. When, as a matter of fact, the reason why might be so simple, it's sitting right there in front of us all along. So best then, to set your goals. But wait... Don't just set your goals willy nilly! Set them properly so you get laser focussed and therefore you are much more likely to attack your goals with vigour enabling even better success. Have no idea where to start? Secondly, the reason why you might be hitting a training plateau is because, you are not following a specific and personalised, progressive training program which directly coincides with your goals. Let's face it, these days, you have access to a tonne of online workouts right at your finger tips. Sorry to say, randomly picking workouts, for the sheer sake of it, will eventually lead you to training plateau, worse still, injury. Similarly, picking classes at the gym at random, will eventually get you no-where in terms of real progression. This is because when you have no purpose or personalisation therefore you are working out rather than training.

If you want to build a great body, great fitness then at some stage you will need to knuckle down, get serious with executing a succinct training plan, rather than randomly picking workouts or exercises for the sake of it. But, do you really understand how to formulate the best plan and program for your goals? Most clients don’t know how to program for best results and that’s why the clients who have the biggest smarts call in on the experts !

4. You're lacking motivation and keep skipping your workouts even though you know you need to do them.



Ever wondered why some people just seem to be so consistently game on and hung ho, whilst others really struggle to come up with the motivation to even step one foot into the gym? This is usually because there is a problem with their mindset. If you are struggling with motivating yourself to work do your workouts this can be down to your focus because you might not have set your goals and if you have, they are not aligned with your effort. The level of your effort has a direct correlation to your mindset. The beauty of changing your mindset is that , you can switch the negative into a positive within an instant, because it is completely under your control. But that doesn't mean that you can be lazy and sit back, whilst your brain magically trains itself so you achieve results. Your brain, needs to be trained like any other muscle in your body. 5. Although you are able to maintain your results, no matter how hard you try you just can't seem to be able to level up, allowing you to achieve your very best possible results.


Are you so close, yet so far when it comes to achieving the results that you want? If you are

pushing hard in the gym, eating all the right foods to fuel your body, already have great levels of motivation, you might be missing one vital ingredient in the success equation. That is; accountability. Accountability holds the glue between the commitment you have made and the result. In particular, third party accountability can make the difference between good results and the level of effort that creates astonishing results. When I ask my clients to level up, firstly we set their personal goals, that way they can level up further by putting a level of effort there to match the outcome of the task. At this point the client understands if their level of physiological & psychological effort is high enough to match their goal physiological & psychological effort. To supercharge their result even further, they are to tell me as their coach or can their training partners/training group what they will achieve. As a result in 9 times out of 10 scenarios, their outcome goes way beyond where they ever though possible. The third party accountability often holds a huge power because it gives the client a massive sense of ownership and that positive sense of pressure to perform in front of their peers. 6. Your hormones are out of whack, you are suffering from PMS and your moods go up and down like a seesaw.



Firstly, If you are experiencing the above symptoms you are not alone. Many women suffer badly from pre- menopause, menopause and PMS. This can effect everything from your skin, your energy, vitality and the relationships you have with all the important people in your life. If you are out of whack, quite simply you really shouldn't have to suffer and this can be yet another sign that your system is ready for a REBOOT.

The science is only just beginning to help us to understand the crucial role that our gut health has upon our hormone balance. You might be wondering how your gut is even related to your hormones? Important to recognise that all of our amazing systems in our body are intricately linked. When it comes to hormone balance and gut health there is a specific bacteria link the gut known as estrobolome which is capable of metabolising and modulating the body’s circulating estrogen. It is the bacteria in the gut, and the estrobolome, that affects estrogen levels, which in turn can impact weight, libido and mood. In fact when the gut bacteria is imbalanced (Gut dysbiosis) and there is an excess of bacteria that produce betaglucuronidase, this reverts estrogen back into its active form and it is then absorbed back into the bloodstream resulting in estrogen dominance. The ramifications of oestrogen dominance are all the ghastly spells of pre menopause, menopause and PMS that you are trying to eradicate.

So its super important then to work on gut health and you can do this by ensuring you are eating the right kind of healthy foods to optimise your gut flora. Not sure what these foods are? on Wednesday, drink on Thursday because it's nearly the weekend, drink a bit more because its Friday, splurge on chips Saturday, and stuff down some cheese on Sunday but that's ok because you will start again on Monday. Be honest, does this sound familiar? Listen up, we've all been there. I can tell you this for sure, this vicious cycle won't get you anywhere good. What you eat, how you think, your energy, the quality of your training, your relationships are all related. If you don't break the cycle now, i can guarantee, you will be in exactly the same old place with a hangover Monday a year from now, living with the same old regrets that you should have...
